Eddington House

First time here. We live in Levittown and love gleasons but we have 3 kids and found out this place is more of a restaurant that kids can go to. The food was incredible. Our server Kayla was the best and helped decide on what we should get. I had a coupon for a Bogo entree and Kayla explained how it worked. Everything was great, fresh and the portions were big!! The kids meals came with a drink, side and dessert! The only thing we noticed later is we didn’t get any bread with the entree like it said but we were stuffed anyway with everything else! Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!!

This place is pretty cool inside. I've tried two of their seasonal flights so far and they are yummy. It's a great date night, girls night and family friendly place to go. Hopefully soon we are about to get their for one of their fun events. All the waitresses we have had so far, are very friendly and helpful. Food has a been pretty delicious. I loved the chicken parm grill cheese and can not wait to go back and get it again.

I worked near by for three weeks, and ate here a lot, and I have to say that this place is frustrating. The food is absolutely awesome, but if you sit in the bar area, prepare to be ignored. The bar layout is horrendous. The premium liquor is in the rear section of the bar, so the bartenders tend to be back there a lot preparing many of their specialty cocktails, and the well drinks are in the front of the bar, so that tends to be a congregation area for bartenders and patrons. If you're sitting anywhere else besides the rear bar or front bar, it's almost impossible to get their attention. A few times, they were so busy that by the time we got someone's attention, we ended missing the happy hour deals, despite being there 30 min before happy hour ended. Another issue, is that they tend to have a lot of locals, so the bartenders tend to stand and talk to their friends, while you're trying to get their attention. Many times too, they're so busy that there's no one behind the bar because bartenders are waiting tables or running to and from the kitchen. The servers and bartenders are very friendly, introducing themselves by name, but then the customer/bartender relationship can tend to get flirtatious with guys wanting to take pictures with the bartenders, (which happened a lot) which gets them distracted from the rest of the customers who just want to eat, have a drink, and be on their way. This would be a great place to hang out for hours if you didn't have anything else to do on an evening, but as I said, it is frustrating for those just looking for dinner and a drink. I like the atmosphere, and again, the people working there are super friendly. I just wish the service was a little more professional as opposed to social. But I guess that's why the locals love it and keep it busy. If you have the time to kill, the food is definitely worth the frustration.
